Tillandsia streptophylla Mounted on drift wood

A lovely specimen of Tillandsia streptophylla mounted on drift wood.

Out of stock

Tillandsia streptophylla is native from Southern Mexico to Honduras, it is another species that has (in the wild) ant associations (a myrmecophyte).
It has a lovely shape with long soft silvery green leaves like tagliatelle pasta that fold back over its bulbous base, the flower spike is elaborate with pink primary bracts and bright green flower bracts with contrasting purple flowers.
This species likes high light levels with regular misting and good air-movement.

Here is a lovely specimen, mounted and rooting onto drift wood, decorated with Spanish Moss.
