Also known as T. brachycaulos abdita, this species colours up fantastically during its flowering stage.
Native to Mexico and Central America it grows epiphytically in dry forests and scrub lands.
This species is famous for being one of the most vivid and colourful Tillandsia's. The foliage turns intense red and then produces lovely purple, tubular flowers that contrast beautifully with the foliage.
It grows well in high light levels with corresponding more frequent watering.
This my second order, Arrived quickly lovely plant with care notes. Great service
As this plant no need much water but it will let you now when you need water them by look at the leave. I mist it usually every 2 or 3 days.
