Aechmea nudicaulis 'Frosty The Snowman' seed parent Aechmea nudicaulis var. aequalis. Pollen parent Silver Streak naudicaulis. Other seedlings from the same grex include 'Candy Cane' and 'Santa Calaus'. It is a wonderful Aechmea hybrid from Liza Vizant in Hawaii. It shows the characteristic indents on the leaves that all Aechmea nudicaulis varieties have. It is heavily banded in silver streaks and has a great habit.
