Tillandsia diaguitensis is native to Argentina and Paraguay where it grows as a saxicole (rock dwelling) plant on rocks and cliffs, and also as an epipthyte on scrub and Cacti.
It grows along a stem (caulescent) similar to T. bergeri, and clumps well with the tips curving up towards the light. It produces a long and slender flower spike with beautiful white scented flowers. Easy to grow in high light levels with regular misting and quick drying.
