Im very pleased to offer this interesting variety of this species. The latifolia Tillandsia's grow along the coast often in the sand dunes making great stands along the beaches, our uk equivalent would be the marram grass that helps form the dunes. There are many many forms of latifolia though botanists only recognize about four. Most T. latifolia's are viviperous meaning that they pup (vegetative offset/growth) along what would be the flower spike. This is an evolutional trait that enables the plants to move up and grow ahead of the shiffting sands. Laifolia Enano is a great form. It has odd colored leaves quite grey, and the flower spike (which normaly just turns into a pup without flowering) is a nice dark red.
