Tillandsia fasciculata grows in the wild from Florida, The Caribbean and Central America and into South America.

This is a magnificent and large growing Tillandsia species. It is very popular amongst Collectors and hybridizers.

It has stiff mid green leaves often darker at the bases. The flower spike is large, colourful, lasts a long time and produces long purple flowers. It is very easy grow in medium to high light levels with regular watering. It roots well onto a mount or can be grown effectively in a pot filled with potting bark/peat mixture.

At the moment I have a few extra large specimen plants for sale.

A gorgeous plant

I received this fasciculata yesterday. It is a beauty and it now resides in pride of place, mounted onto a piece of driftwood that I have had for a long time, just waiting for the right plant.
As ever, it arrived really well wrapped and with the care and attention that Andy always gives to his plants. Delighted.

Facts about fasciculata

Very nice plant with a rosette shape The leaves are a bit spikey. which makes it just a little more difficult to display in the home other than in a round container which takes up a lot of space on a window sill. I will be glad to get it outside when weather improves
