This is a rare Tillandsia from the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean. It is similar in appearance to T. tricolor. It has dark green leaves and a reddish flower spike with purple flowers.
I have only two (similar to the one in the picture) large flowering size plants available. There are a few snipped tips to the older leaves but otherwise great plants.
