Tillandsia schreiteri is and incredible and rare species. It is native to Tucuman Argentina and Bolivia. It has wide mid to dark green leaves, it makes a large rosette 30cm or more across. The flower spike is globose, capitulate and has white bracts and white or yellow flowers. I grow this species more on the mesic side with bright light but not too much direct sun and more regular wetting than many of the xeric or dry growing silver leaved species.
This is a stunning, rare, large and easy species to grow.
Here i have some lovely, young seedling plants available.
