Aechmea 'Suenos'

These were the last plants I removed from the box of my recent order. Just before the box with all the packing tissue was commandeered by my cat! As always the plants were in excellent condition. I would concur with Andy, that the plants Andy has are somewhat larger than some of the online descriptions. With them sometimes being described as mini broms measuring just over 6" high. The pups I received were getting on for double that. However, out of interest I asked chatGPT for some thoughts from AI. The reply I received was....The Aechmea 'Suenos' is a hybrid bromeliad, and like many in the Aechmea genus, it typically grows to about 12 to 18 inches (30 to 45 cm) tall. The inflorescence can add a bit of extra height, sometimes bringing the total height closer to 24 inches (60 cm) when in bloom.
Now that to me judging by the size of the pups, would be a more accurate description. Unless... unless... the ones Andy has are even bigger!! I'm enjoying the plants, and my cat is still enjoying the box they came in! Thank you Andy.
