I acquired this plant as Aechmea 'Suenos'. However my plants seem larger than online descriptions. This plant has very attractive, large inflorescences of dark purple flowers with red bracts. A hybrid of A, recurvata and cylindrata, so it is a tough plant with some hardiness.
