Racinaea hamaleana from Ecuador and Peru. Used to be called Tillandsia hamaleana. It is a a green leaved plant. I have grown this for a few years and it seems quite difficult to grow well and keep the leaves looking good. However it flowers well and is slowly increasing in my collection. It requires a slightly shaded position and not too cold in the winter.
Racinaea hamaleana has wonderful, large, scented flowers. The largest individual flowers of any Bromeliads that I grow.
I have two plants for sale, they are a good size but please be aware there is some slight marks/specks/discoloration on the leaves.
