This is a (new to me) hybrid of two great species. T. recurvifolia var subsecundifolia is a personal fav with nice recurved leaves and very nice bright orange flower spikes. T. bergeri is big, vigerous and hardy. This hybrid looks to have inherited the best attributes of each parent. It has orange flower bracts and very light blue flowers.

I have some very nice clumps of this available.

So Far So Good

this is my first venture into "air plants" so complete novice. Plant arrived fairly quickly and seemed in good condition. "Planted" it in top of empty wine bottle, not ideal but had nothing else available, couple weeks on seems in good health, not much in sign of growth yet, (except "root" appears to be growing) early days yet. Hope to transfer to sutible container tomorrow, i think it well do well.

A really nice dense clump of a good size
