Tillandsia lorentziana grows epiphytically often on Cacti, or saxicolously (on rocks) in Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina.
It is has soft silver leaves, covered with fine, fur like trichomes. The flower spike is quite long and a lovely cherry red, and the flowers are white. It is easy to grow in high light levels with regular misting and good air-movement.
On offer are singles and small clumps.
Nice specimen with a couple of pups at the base. This air plant has a slightly different, kind of lime green colouring, which adds to its slightly crazy nature.
