Tillandsia stellifera is a rare species from Peru where it grows into clumps on Cliffs and rock faces.
It has lovely, short, spirally arranged leaves that are covered in silver trichomes giving the plant a similar appearance to T. tectorum.
The flower spike is short with pink bracts and light purple/lilac flowers.
It is easy to grow in similar conditions to T. tectorum with high light levels, regular 'light' misting and good air-movement/quick drying.
These are multi stemmed, flowering size clumps, or single stems.
