This is a very beautiful species often confused with T. oaxacana and T. matudae. It has lovely soft, silver leaves and produces a strange thick pink, drooping flower spike that in turn produces a succession of lovely tubular purple flowers.
It is very easy to grow and in a few years will make lovely clumps of multiple flowering plants as you can see in the second photo.
