This is a very beautiful species often confused with T. oaxacana and T. matudae. It has lovely soft, silver leaves and produces a strange thick pink, drooping flower spike that in turn produces a succession of lovely tubular purple flowers.
It is very easy to grow and in a few years will make lovely clumps of multiple flowering plants as you can see in the second photo.
Here is a large flowering size plant mounted on drift wood with Spanish Moss.
Great selection of Tillandsia, very fast delivery (especially with whats going on currently) and very well packaged. Will definitly be making another purchase soon. Thank you! :)
