Tillandsia x Victoria is a great and interesting plant. Its a hybrid between T. ionantha and T. brachycaulos first made in 1943 It was named after Miss Victoria Padilla the then secretary of the International Bromeliad society.
It does not bear much resemblance to the brachycaulos parent and looks more like a giant ionantha. The plant colors up a fantastic cerise pink and the purple flowers are very numerous.
