I have recently put up my first ever polytunnel. It is so exciting to have all the space protected from the elements, wind/rain. I will use this space to house my ever expanding collection of plants that includes winter and summer growing bulbs (Iridaceae, Lachenalia's Amarylidaceae etc. other miscellaneous plants, and of course Bromeliads.
This was my Air plant display for my Royal Horticultural Society debut show. Im so pleased to be welcomed by the RHS to exhibit at their shows. Luckily i had done a few non RHS shows in the previous years to prepare me the experience which of course i enjoyed tremendously.
For this blog post I would like to share my experience at I was very pleased to be invited at the last minute, whilst I was working at the Royal Cornwall show, my friend John Trott of Mendip Bonsai suggested me to the organisers at Taunton Flower show after hearing that a nursery had dropped out last minuet. I agreed and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
Welcome to the Andy’s Air Plants Blog! I'm very pleased to have you along on this journey into discovering these amazing plants and the Bromeliad family as a whole.
